I will be behind the Registration desk part of the day but I am hoping to get away from it a bit to taste what's coming off the Eggs!

Hi there--
I was not able to attend this year but am hoping there's an event next year? Can anyone let me know about how many people turned out and if there was discussion of an event next year? Also, does anyone know why it was moved from Lake Sammamish park and set in June rather than Sept? Just curious--

Thank you Jeremy for posting the photos. It looks like it was a good event as always.

Jacque,

I attended the 1st PNW Eggfest at Lake Sammamish and really enjoyed it. After missing the 2nd I was able to attend the 3rd PNW Eggfest at AES Systems in Kent. Actually, I enjoyed the event as much as I did the 1st.
The turnout was reported to expect 300 plus, and I think all 300 showed up. And yes, a 4th event is planned for next year.

I spoke with a member of ASE at the Meat & Greet and asked the same question as to why the event was moved:

Logistics, basically, was the overall reason for the move. AES had to pallatize 30+ BGE's for transport by truck.
The park wouldn't let them set up the eggs and leave the overnight so AES had to leave the Kent area by 5:15 am to get to the park by 6:00 am (when it opened). Afterwards, they had to be loaded up and gone by 7:00 pm that evening. That's a lot of liability with a lot of product and a lot of work. I didn't ask as to why the shift to June.

Please plan on being at the next event. I guarntee you'll enjoy it.

Regards,
-paul
